Wood is currently looking to recruit a Site Safety Engineer for its infrastructure buildings projects with ADNOC Onshore. The successful candidate would be responsible for the following;



  • To oversight the activities of the EPC Contractor to ensure that the ADNOC Codes Of Practice as per the Agreement are being implemented.
  • To oversight the construction worksite to ensure compliance to the approved construction method statements and task risk analysis for the various activities
  • To comment and review Contractor proposed method statements and task risk assessments to ensure compliance with the Agreement, UAE legislation and industry best practices
  • To conduct HSE and Welfare Audits within the workplace and accommodation camps, contributing to the recommendation, then reviewing close out and follow up actions
  • To conduct frequent audits and inspections to confirm the effectiveness of HSE programs on critical operations / equipment and procedures at assigned location; present recommendations for improvement; and follow-up their implementation
  • To review Contractor generated statistics, reports, and presentations required for management reporting
